This project featured a full kitchen cabinetry painting as well as door frames and a built-in shelving and fireplace mantle unit in the basement. This bright and open Discovery Ridge home was in need of an update to the outdated orange stained wood. We painted the kitchen perimeter cabinets and the frames in the basement White Dove, the kitchen island and pantry door a custom colour called Black Fire, and the basement fireplace shelving unit Iron Ore. The two different dark shades combined with the White Dove instantly modernized the aesthetic throughout the home.

This Chestermere home, laden with classic orange oak, was in need of some modernization. We sprayed the upper kitchen cabinets, banister railing and laundry room cabinets a vibrant straight White, while the kitchen lowers, both bathroom vanities, side built-in desk and the built-in TV stand a popular accent grey Kendall Charcoal. The classic oak grain look was still present underneath the sprayed lacquer finish, but the new trendy two tone colour scheme instantly modernized the entire home’s interior.

We painted the kitchen Antique Ivory, the banister and wall-toppers a straight White, the island, fireplace and pantry door an accent dark grey Kendall Charcoal, and the walls received a trendy two-tone of the same charcoal colour as an accent with a lighter Metropolitan throughout. The cabinets painted a modern two tone combined with the refreshed walls completely transformed the look and feel (and perceived age!) of this cozy McKenzie Towne home.
