Dark Brown Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets Painted Refreshing and Stylish Two Tone
This major project featured a full kitchen cabinet painting in sprayed lacquer, as well as pantry door, banister rail, fireplace mantel, laundry room, bench and hooks, and two upstairs bathrooms. This modern Southeast Calgary home featured dark brown stain cabinetry and wood features throughout. We refreshed the upper kitchen cabinets, fireplace mantel, banister railing and the laundry room features in a bright Straight White, both bathrooms were painted a softer Antique Ivory, and the kitchen island featured a modern accent Collingwood grey to complete the two-tone kitchen. All three colour choices helped to modernize the home’s cabinetry and brighten up each interior space. Do you have dark brown wood kitchen or bathroom cabinets? This project featured sprayed lacquer work throughout the home, including kitchen cabinets, bathroom and laundry room cabinets, a panel wall, trim and doors, and the main floor banister. This home was laden with classic dark oak that our clients wanted to modernize and brighten. We hand-painted the trim and upstairs man-doors Simply White while the rest of the spray work including all the cabinetry and banister were painted a warm, off-white custom tone called Sandy Brown. The wood in this home was in fantastic condition, and the end result was a much brighter, trendier feeling interior space that still featured that classy and luxurious grained oak.

This project featured a full kitchen painting and pantry door in sprayed lacquer. This cozy Strathmore kitchen was in need of some brightening up, so we took it from a two tone yellow and brown wood stain colour to a stylish and modern shade of white called Swiss Coffee. Just by changing the cabinetry colour, this relatively small kitchen feels brighter and more spacious.

This project featured a full kitchen cabinetry painting as well as door frames and a built-in shelving and fireplace mantle unit in the basement. This bright and open Discovery Ridge home was in need of an update to the outdated orange stained wood. We painted the kitchen perimeter cabinets and the frames in the basement White Dove, the kitchen island and pantry door a custom colour called Black Fire, and the basement fireplace shelving unit Iron Ore. The two different dark shades combined with the White Dove instantly modernized the aesthetic throughout the home.

This project featured a full kitchen painting in sprayed lacquer along with the banister, fireplace mantle, and pantry door; as well as wall painting throughout. This dated light brown wood featured throughout the client’s home, and was in need of a refreshing new style. We painted the kitchen Antique Ivory, the banister and wall-toppers a straight White, the island, fireplace and pantry door an accent dark grey Kendall Charcoal, and the walls received a trendy two-tone of the same charcoal colour as an accent with a lighter Metropolitan throughout. The cabinets painted a modern two tone combined with the refreshed walls completely transformed the look and feel (and perceived age!) of this cozy McKenzie Towne home.

This light brown wood tone kitchen and millwork were all resprayed a bright and modern white in this New Brighton home. We used a spray lacquered finish for the kitchen cabinets, the island, the bar cabinets and the staircase. The client choose oxford white on the staircase and perimeter cabinets. It’s a bright and fresh white with just enough tint to soften with cool undertones.
