The original kitchen featured dated orange maple cabinets that made the room feel darker and more traditional than the homeowners wanted. To modernize the space while still keeping warmth and character, we created a balanced neutral colour scheme using two classic Benjamin Moore shades.

For the cabinets, we used Benjamin Moore Shaker Beige, a timeless beige neutral with a soft, elegant finish. The walls were painted in Benjamin Moore Manchester Tan, a lighter sandstone-inspired beige that brightened the room and complemented the cabinets beautifully.
