Two-Tone Kitchen Cabinet Painting Transformation

This project featured a full kitchen cabinet painting using professional spray coatings.

This kitchen renovation project focused on giving an older dark red thermofoil kitchen a clean, modern update while keeping the space warm and inviting. The homeowners wanted a brighter cabinet colour that better matched the rest of their home’s interior design.

To achieve this transformation, we removed the outdated thermofoil finish and professionally refinished the cabinets using high-quality spray coatings. The kitchen was updated with a stylish two-tone colour palette featuring Wilson Blue on the lower cabinets and Behr’s Etched Glass on the upper cabinets.

The finished kitchen now feels brighter, more modern, and beautifully connected to the rest of the home.

Project Details

Our team carefully removed the existing thermofoil finish from the cabinet surfaces to prepare them for long-lasting refinishing. Once the cabinets were fully prepared, we applied professional spray coatings to create a smooth, factory-style finish.

The new colour combination created a striking two-tone design:

• Lower Cabinets: Wilson Blue
• Upper Cabinets: Behr Etched Glass

Wilson Blue added bold character and depth to the lower cabinets, while Etched Glass introduced a soft, lightly frosted blue-white finish that brightened the entire kitchen.

The combination of these colours created a balanced and contemporary look that modernized the space without losing its cozy atmosphere.
