Yellow Maple to Modern Gray and White Repaint
Project Overview

Dated Yellow Maple Two-tone to Modern Gray and White Cabinet and Trim Repaint
This project featured a full kitchen cabinet painting in sprayed lacquer, as well as laundry room cabinets, the banister railing from the main floor to upstairs, the master bath vanity, the pantry door and basement door and frames. Our client here wanted to update the interior of their home by getting rid of the of the light yellowish – light orange classic wood stain from the early 2000s. We painted the kitchen cabinets, the laundry room cabinets, and the master bath vanity a stylish and contemporary light gray called Collingwood. This colour is a soft gray with cooler undertones that provides a stunning look especially on cabinets that receive lots of natural light. For the pantry door, the basement door and frames, as well as the banister going from the main floor to upstairs, we painted a bright white match to the client’s existing trim colour. This added flow and cohesion from room to room and brightened up the entire home’s interior.
Do you have a home filled with dated yellow wood? Consider having your cabinets and trim painted using professionally sprayed coatings! The paint coverage won’t fill in all of the grain, meaning underneath that smooth and vibrant new colour you will still see the authentic and natural wood grain! Pick from virtually any colour palette and transform your home’s interior with a modern and stylish painted kitchen, bathroom, banister, entertainment centre and more!
